Just wanted to tell you how much I love your Jazz center. I started a year and a half ago going 2 days a week and my goal was to get the body back that I had before giving birth to 2 children. Like you, I didn't change my eating habits in the beginning because I knew I would set myself up to fail and give it all up. It's just too hard to get used to a drastic change like that so I set my goals low but realistic from the start knowing that I was looking for a lifestyle change and not a diet. A year and a half later, I am now making wise choices when it comes to meal time (for the most part), exercising 4 to 5 times a week and loving the way I look and feel! I was a size 8/10 when I started and now I'm a comfortable size 4 again! I haven't been a size 4 since I was 18 and now at 33 my body is the firmest it's ever been! Yay for Jazzercise! I have always been active in my past life (before kids) and have belonged to other gyms. No other fitness center is like Jazzercise and none have I enjoyed as much! I hated going to the gym before but it was a necessary evil. Now, I love going to the gym (Jazzercise)! After all, when would I ever find the time to go out dancing as a wife and mother of 2? That's how I see it- going out dancing, getting fit and feeling great with my "girlfriends" at Jazzercise! Thanks for making fitness fun! You and your team really make the difference with your positive, friendly and fun attitudes! There's nothing better than smiling and laughing while getting fit!

I was at a point in my life, a 42 year old mom, been on every diet imaginable, and I was the heaviest I have ever been! I just couldnt stand myself anymore. I went to the doctor and it turns out my insulin level was 170 times normal. I didn't want to be on medication so I went to a nutritiionist. She set-up plan specific for me and my medical needs and of course recommendedexercise. I changed my entire way of eating-something that I will continue for the rest of my life!

During this time, I also went to a tricky tray and won a free month of Jazzercise. I was afraid to go at first as I was so out of shape, self-conscious and I wasn't even sure if I could do it....I had back surgery and two knee operations as well as other medical issues.........So, I held onto the certificate for a few weeks and finally got the nerve to go. I instantly felt welcomed. Everyone was so nice. I really love it! Jazzercise is fun and I enjoy the music, the people and the results! I have now lost 63 pounds in 9 months. I am down 5 dress sizes. My insulin level is normal and I feel so much better. I now feel strong enough to take the personal training classes.

I want to thank you for all of the positive encouragement. I always hated exercising and now it's something that I try to do at least 5 times a week. You are the ones that continue to motivate us, challange us, and make it fun~This is what keeps me coming back. I know I still hae a way to go before I reach my goa, but I want to thank you and your staff for all your help so far...Thanks again, Suzanne

I was first invited to a Jazzercise class at the United Methodist Church of Hackettstown by my cousin, Carol Munro, she relocated, so I began attending class in Succasunna and Flanders. It was the spring of 2000 and I was experiencing a tremendous amount of stress at work. Because of that situation, I dealt with the stress in my usual manner: I ATE !

It wasn't until September 2000 that I actually began attending on a regular basis. I had broken my foot about ten months earlier and stopped my only regular form of exercise at that time, distance walking, and that in combination with the turmoil of my job, I rapidly reached 200 pounds; I was devastated, but was also feeling sorry for myself. I was, and pretty much still am, quite uncoordinated, felt a bit self-conscious, but also felt comfortable enough to keep coming back, as Jazzercise is not your "normal" fitness center. There were others in big tee-shirts and baggy sweat pants, just like me. I was totally intimidated by Stacey at the time, but felt very comfortable with Holly (a class manager at the time) to "keep on keepin' on", and in conjunction with refocusing my eating habits, I lost about 40 pounds over the first year. I may still have a ways to go, but I have felt so much healthier, not only physically, but also emotionally, as I have utilized Jazzercise classes as my new method of relieving stress. My doctor is pleased, too. Not only has my cholesterol level come down to a level where I no longer need medication, but my blood pressure has reduced significantly, too. Both of those things are directly related to my continued participation at the Jazzercise fitness center. Exercising on a regular basis has also helped me to manage a severe case of osteo-arthritis in my hip, for which I no longer need to take prescription medications. I'm not where I want yet and need to be with my weight yet, but overall am so much healthier and happier, I cannot imagine NOT attending classes. It has become part of my regular routine. The variety of classes and class times, the terrific instructors and the camaraderie amongst students are an added, and unexpected, bonus. And to top it all off, I'm no longer afraid of Stacey! She is one of the most genuine people, not only as an owner and instructor, but a caring, sensitive and knowledgeable person I really enjoy knowing.
